Hi, my name is Chloe, I am a London based designer and artist. Focusing on craft, culture, activism, and sustainability; I interrogate the role of the designer, as a social and political actor in society. Graduated from my MA in Fashion Future at London college of fashion in 2019. I am now practicing my craft to hopefully trigger change within our society, working for Brands, Charities, and now with my shop.

I believe the designer has an ideal position as a change-maker: the ability to interact inside the cultural sphere, uniquely positions us as simultaneous problem solvers, communicators, particularly while utilising the strength of traditional craft as a tool to initiate conversations. I believe in incorporating craft back within design practices, as well as keeping design thinking in the centre of the process, for a more meaningful outcome. I believe the designer can, and should be an activist.

 

Through my multidisciplinary practice, my skills are in  Natural dye, Embroidery, Macramé, Painting, Illustration, Collage,  Knitting,  Crochet and Weaving, as well as some garment making; All with special care toward reducing waste and with the perfectly imperfect beauty of Craft in mind, in my Zero-waste London Based Studio.
