Symbol of over-information, the urban jungle is abstract, it is a feeling, an overwhelming emotion. In his book Invisible Cities, Italo Calvino imagines a metropolis where everybody crosses without looking, without seeing. For me, the urban jungle like a crowd full of people walking on themself, stacking, and finally spill over borders. I wanted to work on this cold and snobbish city where everything is in constant motion. I used mainly shades of gray. From impersonal and conventional clothes I show the overflow with growths, in contradiction of fluids and light fabrics creating a movement around the figure. Finally, to illustrate the preciosity of the city, I used many delicates details: textures, gilding, transparent, lace ...
